Preface

There are many dedicated individuals involved in elderly care, and with the aging population, the demand for such services will only increase. In elderly care, it is crucial to understand the physical and mental characteristics of older adults, as well as the common ailments they face. However, there is a scarcity of books specifically focused on elderly care in most bookstores, which led to the creation of this book in response to the needs expressed by bookstore staff.

This book thoroughly details and organizes information on basic human anatomy, caregiving principles, changes in organs due to aging, common diseases in the elderly, and how to handle emergency situations. It aims to provide comprehensive knowledge that will be useful in caregiving situations. Having a copy at home or in a workplace, and referring to it whenever questions arise, should prove to be highly beneficial.

I sincerely wish that those who own this book will gain greater confidence in providing elderly care and hope that it will contribute to the happiness and well-being of many elderly individuals.
