L’elan Enterprise Co., Ltd. is the first company in Taiwan dedicated to meeting the comprehensive needs of the senior community, covering aspects such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and leisure. The company’s vision is to "become a replenishment station for the senior population, constructing a healthy 'body', joyful 'mind', and peaceful 'spirit' life." In the next ten years, we aim to "become the leading senior lifestyle platform in the Greater China region."

The company focuses on the key values of "Vitality, Comfort, and Refinement," with a target audience of health-conscious, self-sufficient seniors. Our mission is to help seniors maintain or enhance their vitality, improve the convenience and safety of their lives, and most importantly, provide a more refined and higher-quality lifestyle. Founded in August 2007, the company’s main shareholders include graduates from National Taiwan University’s EMBA program and industry professionals, with team members specializing in health and wellness, retail, finance, human resources, and information technology.

In November 2007, we launched Taiwan’s first senior community portal website - 「www.ez66.com.tw」, providing a platform for the senior population in Taiwan to access a comprehensive range of products, services, information, and forums for communication. Since its inception, the website has received widespread customer feedback, with its products reaching both domestic and international markets. The platform has attracted many manufacturers and has become the most comprehensive online store for senior products. To serve seniors who may not have internet experience, and to provide a hands-on shopping experience, we established physical stores in 2008, and currently operate six stores across Taiwan. ez66 is the leading brand for senior products in Taiwan, offering over 8,000 items for sale, and has expanded into Hong Kong and Macau through franchise distribution channels. We are now the largest senior lifestyle product platform in the Chinese-speaking world. Our online store has received the Gold Award at the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ "Golden Web Award," and our physical retail services have been recognized with the "Silver Age Quality Convenience Product Award" by the Industrial Development Bureau.To enhance service quality, we introduced the "Japan Care Fit Safe Assistance Staff Training," becoming the first company in Taiwan to receive the Care Fit certification. ez66 is not only one of the earliest companies to enter the senior industry but also the only senior care company to win the "Taiwan Service Innovation Award" in 2019.

  According to the World Health Organization, a society with 7% of its population aged 65 or above is considered an "aging society." Taiwan reached this threshold in 1993. Despite this, the government and society have not provided sufficient services and solutions for the elderly. As Taiwan moves quickly toward an "aged society" with the elderly population exceeding 14%, driven by factors such as low birth rates and population migration, the need for better care and services has become even more urgent. This is where ez66 Enterprise steps in, driven by the need for more care and better products for the senior community.
2. Driving Supply by Stimulating Demand
  Due to the physical changes that come with aging, products and services designed for seniors must consider their unique needs. However, such offerings are still scarce in Taiwan. In contrast, countries like Japan have a broad range of products specifically designed for seniors, making life more convenient for them. Taiwanese manufacturers have the capacity to design such products but are often hesitant due to uncertain demand. ez66 Enterprise aims to be a catalyst for senior-related business opportunities, fostering both supply and demand for quality senior products and services, making them more accessible and affordable.

  Currently, there is no dedicated platform for the elderly in Taiwan, where stores catering specifically to seniors are rare. 2. The Meaning of ez66

1. What is the ez66 Generation?
  The term ez66 is a respectful title for seniors used in Singapore. Unlike other commonly used terms like "silver-haired generation," "mature generation," or "golden age generation" (the Japanese term for retirees from the baby boomer generation, emphasizing wealth and leisure), ez66 removes the stereotypes associated with aging. It conveys a more positive, active meaning and represents the spirit of "Living joyfully without aging." This is the essence we wish to impart: to live joyfully, beyond the constraints of age.
2. Why is it called ez66?
  According to the United Nations, the threshold for old age is defined as 65. However, with today’s living standards and advancements in technology, most seniors, even after retirement, remain energetic and full of vitality. While 66 is often considered the start of "old age," the saying "Life begins at 70" reflects that 66 is actually the true beginning of enjoying life. Thus, "Easy, 66" symbolizes that at this age, life truly begins. We wish every senior a smooth and prosperous 66.
3. Logo Meaning
  The ez66 logo consists of three modified 6s. The two greenish 6s at the bottom represent "66," while the fresh, vibrant green 6 rising from below symbolizes a new life that begins at 66. It signifies a new chapter, a new journey full of opportunities and possibilities, marking the exciting start of the next phase of life.
