a. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, with your feet flat on the floor. Keep your hips against the seat and your back pressed against the backrest. Maintain a good spinal alignment throughout the movement (engage your core, retract and depress your shoulder blades, keep your back straight, and tuck your chin). Look straight ahead and grip the handles, pulling down to press your shoulders against the pad as much as possible.
b. Move backward (Backward movement) to extend the trunk (Extension) - targeting the erector spinae muscles.
