Description
Taiwan became an aging society in 2018, with the elderly population reaching 14%, and the number of people with disabilities surpassed 1.15 million as early as 2015.
In response to the urgent need for various accessibility facilities and equipment, the building and interior design industry has been notably slow to adapt. This delay is largely due to the extensive manpower and time required for accessibility assessments. Due to cost considerations, architects and interior designers are often reluctant to take on accessibility improvement projects. Moreover, construction teams that lack professional training frequently make errors in planning and execution, leading to potential risks in the improved environments.
In light of this, EZ66 has collaborated with a professional team to offer a comprehensive "Accessibility Planning | Design | Construction" service. We assist in evaluating, planning, and designing home environments for accessibility, all the way through to the final construction. Our accessibility team members have received specialized training in accessibility design and have passed the Ministry of the Interior's "Building Accessibility Facility Inspection Personnel Training Program," ensuring that our plans are safe, practical, and customizable.

  2. Step 2:Provide Drawings and Communication: Offer both floor plans and 3D renderings to give you a clear understanding of the design and implementation, and make adjustments based on your needs.
  3. Step 3:Commence Construction: The team will confirm the number of construction days, start times, and completion schedule with you, ensuring that the project does not disrupt your family's routine.
  4. Service Description

If you do not have a clear idea about home accessibility improvements, we suggest starting with evaluating the following areas:
  5. Bathrooms and Toilets: According to statistics, bathrooms and toilets are among the places with the highest risk of falls for the elderly. Therefore, addressing issues such as height differences, handrails, and slip-resistant surfaces should be prioritized for improvement.
  6. Stairs and Corridors: Stairs and corridors often involve long travel distances, which can be physically taxing for elderly or disabled family members. Installing sturdy handrails can significantly enhance stability and ease during movement.
  7. Entrances and Exits: Thresholds and steps can deter elderly and disabled family members from going out, especially when lifting and moving obstacles are involved. By eliminating height differences in the pathways, you can make it easier for family members to enjoy outdoor activities and feel that the sunshine outside is within reach.
  8. Service Cases

    1. Corridor Handrails
    2. Bathroom
    3. Entry Ramp
